ST MARY’S STADIUM KITENDE READY FOR NIGHT GAMES.
The Venom’s first game at the stadium under floodlights will be a CAF Champions League tie against Simba SC.

St Mary’s Kitende, the home of Vipers SC is ready and set for night games after the completion of installation of floodlights posts at each corner of the field.
According to local website The Sports Nation, Vipers had initially planned to host Wakiso Giants first under floodlights, but were faced with technical glitches.
Having put things in order, the Venoms will play their first game at the stadium under floodlights as they take on neighbors Simba SC in CAF Champions League on Saturday 25th February 2023 at 7pm.
Yesterday, the team had an evening training session under the floodlights in preparation for the Saturday encounter in what is dubbed as the East-African derby.
The Venoms head into the Simba tie having picked up a goalless draw against Wakiso Giants at home in league fixture.
They third in group C with a point they picked at home against Guinea’s Horoya AC after two games. They are will host a side that seats bottom of the table having lost all their games played so far in the competition and are desperate for a win.
